Passing Square
A drill to improve passsing and fitness
Drill Aims
A good warm-up to use before a match and to improve handling.
Coaching Instructions
Two players on the same side sprint to the opposite cone with the ball
and make a soft pop pass to the other player. They then loop to the
back of that line. The player with the ball then sprints to the
opposite corner and repeats the action.
Variations
See Left/Right Pass Square, Placing Square, Rolling Square.
More players can queue behind the first man. More balls can be
introduced to speed up the drill. The receivers can come out to meet
the ball in the middle. Use your imagination for more variations!
