Basic Switch Practice
A basic drill to help improve switching
Drill Aims
This is another simple switching drill that players can perform in pairs.
Coaching Instructions
Make sure the player receiving the gets behind the ball carrier as
quickly as possible. Players should practice stepping off their outside
foot as they angle their run into the switch.
Variations
See Opposed Switch Practice , 3-Man Switch Practice . You can increase the distance between cones to allow players to perform more switches in each run through.
